DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Brenda Tapley, 61, beloved wife of James Tapley, died Thursday, August 16, 2007, in the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, S.C.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 19, in the Westview Cemetery with Rev. Todd Upchurch officiating.
Mrs. Tapley was a native of Wilkes County, but had lived in McDuffie County for many years. She was a retired business owner.
Survivors include her husband, James Tapley, Dearing; a daughter, Renee Tapley Williams, Dearing; three sons, Vic Tapley, Harlem, Dennis Tapley and Troy Tapley, both of Dearing; two sisters, Judy Robertson, Thomson, and JoAnne Newsome, Stapleton; two brothers, Dean Palmer and Dale Palmer, both of Thomson; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Eddie Palmer, Gary Palmer, Mike Palmer, Chad Newsome, Steve Anderson, and Marlon Anderson.
