Thomson man charged with molestastion

A 63-year-old Thomson man was arrested Thursday morning on three counts of child molestation.

Assistant Police Chief Jerry Stanphill said Albert Vinson McDonald, of 822 Hillcrest Drive, is accused of improperly touching a 10-year girl not related to him. Stanfield said the child, who resides about a block away, confided in her mother that on at least three separate occasions Mr. McDonald had improperly touched her.

Superior Court Senior Judge Roger Dunaway set bond at $120,000 Thursday - $40,000 for each count.
