THOMSON, Ga. - Ms. Edith Virginia Cowins entered into rest Sunday August 13, 2006 at her residence.
Her memories will be forever cherished by her mother, Mrs. Charlotte Cowins; sister, Thelma (Leroy) Roberts and Barbara Hixson, both of Thomson; brothers Roy Melvin (Catherine), Herman "Johnny "(Joyce) Jr. Cowins, Thomson, Roy Milton (Betty) Cowins of Tulsa, OK; a host of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 19, 2006, at 1 p.m. in Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. F.D. Favors officiating.
Pinkston-Roberts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
