Usry-Jenkins Michael and Peggy Beckworth of Thomson would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Tiffany Lynn Usry of Augusta, to David Allen Hardy Jr. of Jackson, S.C. He is the son of Allen and Ida Sue Hardy of Jackson, S.C. Tiffany is if the granddaughter of Shirley Jenkins and the late Virgil "Doodle" Jenkins of Thomson and Lonzie and Hazel Beckworth of Thomson. She is a graduate of Thomson High School and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the Medical College of Georgia. She is currently a registered nurse at the University Hospital in Augusta. David is the grandson of Marion and Peggy Brinkley of Jackson, S.C. and the late Lt. Col. George Hardy and Ms. Bobbie Jr. Hardy of Augusta. He is a graduate of Silver Bluff High School and earned a degree in electro-mechanical engineering from Aiken Technical College. He is currently employed at Taylor Sign Graphics.
