The McDuffie County Board of Directors of the American Heart Association is sponsoring Thomson's lst Annual "Taste of Fall". The event is scheduled for October 7 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the historic Thomson Depot.
Please join us for this event to showcase our area restaurants and caterers.
All proceeds and ticket sales from this event will benefit our American Heart Association.
The Board is looking for interested participants from our local communities to share their culinary talents. We plan to have the freight room in our historic depot decorated for fall, as well as musical entertainment throughout the evening.
Each vendor will have a table from which to serve a "taste" of your specialty. Plates, napkins, utensils, and tablecloths will be provided. There is no fee to participate and donations are a tax-deductible contribution to the AHA.
We feel that this is a great way for vendors to promote your restaurant and/or catering business in time for the Christmas holidays and also a great way to support our local American Heart Association and help fight heart disease, which is our communities' No. 1 killer.
