THOMSON, Ga.- Mr. Donald Perry (Don) Letteer, 74, beloved husband of Dorothy Letteer of Thomson, died Friday, August 13, 2004, in the St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 28, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. George Freeman officiating.
A native of Atlanta, Mr. Letteer was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Thomson First United Methodist Church, and was owner and operator of Letteer's Auto Repair in Thomson.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Letteer, Thomson; two sons, David Carl Letteer, Brighton, MI, and Donald P. Letteer Jr., Thomson; a daughter, Gina Marie Graham, Hephzibah; sisters, Carolyn Drees, Annapolis, MD and Virginia Rollick, North Carolina; a brother, Roy Letteer, Dallas, TX; and six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Boy Scout Troop 315, Thomson First United Methodist Church, 353 Main St., Thomson, GA 30824.
The Letteer family will receive friends following the service at Curtis Funeral Home.
