THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mrs. Gracie Benson Tyson, 77, of Thomson, was held on Friday, August 22, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, with Rev. Frederick D. Favors serving as eulogist and Rev. Henderson Roberson, Jr., officiating. Interment was in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include a loving and devoted daughter, Pamela Denise Tyson Crenshaw, Duluth, Ga. and her fiance, Terry Norman, Gainesville, Ga.; four sisters, Azzie Lee Booker and Alvernia Benson, both of Cleveland, Ohio, Estelle Willis and Betty Parham, both of Detroit, Mich.; nine sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
