Wilson to wed Presley in Thomson ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Norman Wilson, Jr., of Thomson are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Patty Bea Wilson, to Kempton Wade Presley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kempton Presley of Nashville, Tenn. The wedding is planned for Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 6 p.m. at the bride's home in Thomson.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Glenn Trammell of Friendswood, Tex., and Mr. Robert Norman Wilson and the late Virginia Stewart Wilson of Thomson. Miss Wilson is the goddaughter of Mrs. Johnson Watson Wilson and the late Mr. John Watson Wilson of Thomson. She is a 2000 graduate of Thomson High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Georgia. While attending the University of Georgia she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and she earned a bachelor's degree in speech communication. She is presently employed as an account manager with Ajilon Finance.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Fall Wade of Nashville, Tenn., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Earl Presley of Washington, D.C. He is a 1999 graduate of Montgomery Bell Academy and a 2003 graduate of Washington and Lee. While attending Washington and Lee he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epslion Fraternity and he earned a bachelor's degree in economics. He is also a 2007 graduate of Columbia University where he earned his masters in public health. Mr. Presley is presently employed with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield as a national account manager.
