Mr. Milton Glenn "Buddy" Pate
Retired painter

DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Milton Glenn "Buddy" Pate, of Dearing, entered into rest August 21, 2007.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2007, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Brunner officiating. Interment followed in Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Phillip Douglas, Travis Taylor, Jamie O'Neal, Justin Bryan, Cory Pate, Johnathan Edmunds and Alvin Percival.

Mr. Pate was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, and was the son of the late Gus Pate and the late Katherine Reese Pate. He was retired as a painter and was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include: son: Eddie Stately, Martinez; sisters: Annette Keller, Martinez, Cynthia Bryan, Dearing; one grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
