Julie Ann Hathaway and David Brice Hughes were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2006, at The Church of the Most Holy Trinity. Father John Markham officiated.
Julie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hathaway of Thomson. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Anderson of Harlem, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roger Hathaway of Comstock Park, Mich.
Brice is the son of Ms. Cynthia Hughes of Tampa, Fla., and Mr. David Hughes of Thomson. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Thomas, and Mr. Eugene Hughes and the late Mrs. Evelyn Hughes, all of Thomson.
Given in marriage by her father, Julie chose her friend, Miss Andrea Adams of Dearing, to serve as maid of honor.
Brice chose his brother, Mr. Blake Hughes of Thomson, to serve as best man.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Partridge Inn Terrace Ballroom. The newlyweds honeymooned at The Inn on Biltmore Estate and now reside in Birmingham, Ala.
