AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. George E. "Bup" Crawford, Jr., entered into rest Sunday, August 26, 2007, at Medical College of Georgia.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, September 1, 2007, at 11 a.m. from Popular Spring Baptist Church, 333 Popular Spring Road, Appling, with Reverend F. C. Henderson officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Crawford was educated in the McDuffie County School System and was a skilled concrete finisher. Survivors are his wife, Pamela Crawford; children, Roderick L. McGahee, Dexter D. Crawford, Cordaro A. Crawford and Annie P. Crawford, all of Thomson; five brothers, Michael Johnson, Cedric Crawford, Kenneth Crawford, Marion (Elizabeth) Crawford, all of Thomson, and Stacey Crawford, Augusta; three grandchildren; stepfather, Sam (Letha) Latimore; step mother, Eura D. Crawford; mother-in-law, Willie Mae Hamilton, all of Thomson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
