AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Susie E. Lazenby entered into rest Sunday, August 26, 2007, at her residence.
Funeral service were held Thursday, August 30, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church with Rev. J.C. Trowell officiating. Burial was at Southview Cemetery.
Mrs. Lazenby, a native of Thomson, was a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board. She was a retired employee of Richmond County Board of Education.
Survivors are her daughter, Doris (Joseph) Wells, Augusta; two sisters, Hattie Wilkins, Thomson, Ga., Bertha Smith, Augusta; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
