Funeral services for Ms. Vera L. Thomas, of Thomson, were held Saturday, September 2, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Thankful Baptist Church in Glascock County, with Rev. Timothy C. Priest presiding and Rev. Leroy Hudson, Pastor. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors are husband, Henry Scott; three daughters, Sheila (Tildon) Walker, Linda Butler, Deborah Thomas, all of Thomson; one son, Joe Anthony (Anjanette), Augusta; four sisters, Ruthie Wallace, Erma Gilmore, Priscilla Winfrey (Eddie) all of Thomson;, Carrie Bell Story, Ft. Lauderdale; one brother, Agar (Michelle) Thomas of North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
