Patrick G. Blanchard, President and CEO of Georgia-Carolina Bancshares, Inc. and Remer Y. Brinson, III, President of First Bank of Georgia, recently announced the promotion of four bank officers of First Bank.
Joyce Frankenfield, who has served as Assistant Vice President in the Accounting Department, has been promoted to Vice President and Internal Audit Coordinator. Terra Lariscy, who serves as Human Resource Manager of the bank, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. Laura O. Morgan, who serves as Assistant Manager of the Daniel Village Office has been promoted to Assistant Vice President and Assistant Manager while Michelle G. Starnes, who has served as Banking Officer in the Operations Department, has been promoted to the level of Assistant Vice President.
"We are always delighted to recognize the diligent efforts and the contributions made by our management team," said Mr. Blanchard.
"The promotions of these four First Bank Officers are all well deserved and better prepare these Officers to serve our customer needs in the future," said Mr. Brinson.
Ms. Frankenfield, who resides in Dearing, began her banking career with First Bank in December of 1992. She has served as a Loan Officer, Branch Manager and Compliance Officer of the bank during her years with First Bank.
MA. Lariscy was first employed by the bank in February of 2002. She manages the Human Resource activities of the bank including recruiting of staff and the management of the Human Resource training and review process. She is a graduate of the National School of Human Resources in Boulder, Col.
Ms. Morgan began her service with First Bank as the Assistant Manager of the Daniel Village Office in September of 1999. Previously had served as Assistant Vice President of SouthTrust Bank. She is a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County and is presently attending Augusta State University.
Ms. Starnes began her banking career with First Bank in September of 1999. She has served as Banking Officer and Assistant Manager of the West Town Office prior to her transition to the Operations Department of the bank.
Ms. Starnes has had career experiences in retail, administrative support and customer service during her banking career.
