Mrs. Elaine C. Greene Retired administrative assistant THOMSON, Ga.- Mrs. Elaine C. Greene, 84, widow of the late Mr. Roscoe Greene, of Thomson, died Sunday, September 5, 2004 at her residence. Graveside services were held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, with Dr. Jim Ramsey officiating. A native of Thomson, Mrs. Greene was the daughter of the late Herschel and Viola Griffin Crawley. She retired after more than 30 years of service as an administrative assistant from Thomson Company and was a member of Thomson First Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener and her love for gardening won her Yard of the Month. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Renee Greene of Brandon, Miss.; two grandchildren, Caroline Renee Greene and Andrew Roscoe Greene, both of Brandon, Miss and several nieces and nephews.
