Arthur B. Taylor, II
Mechanic

Mr. Arthur B. Taylor II, 73, of Thomson, entered into rest September 4, 2008.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, September 8, 2008, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Harwell officiating.

Mr. Taylor was born in Warren County and was the son of the late Arthur B. Taylor, Sr., and the late Fannie Sue Giles Taylor. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, worked as a supervisor at Concord Industries for 10 years and worked as a mechanic for Gray Citgo in Warrenton. Mr. Taylor was a member of Norwood United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Josette Taylor, Thomson; a son, John Thomas Taylor (Susie Kilpatrick), Thomson; two daughters, Lynn McKinney (Gary ), Harlem and Lenna Renee Sellers (Ron), Gibson; a sister, Nellie Smith, Norwood; seven grandchildren, Damien Taylor, Angel Taylor, Cody Kotlan, Sandra Michelle Kotlan, Tiffany and Jonathan McKinney and Sydney Sellers.

Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice 1365 Interstate Parkway Augusta, GA 30909.

Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
