HARLEM, Ga. - Mrs. Bobbie V. Walling, 74, entered into rest September 2, 2006, at Medical College of Georgia, Augusta.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2006, at the Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Thomson, , with the Father Tony Curran officiating.
Mrs. Walling was born in Oklahoma and was a resident of the CSRA area for over 25 years. She was retired from Hughes Aeronautics in Southern California and was a member of the Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
Survivors include one son, Scott Walling, Germantown, Maryland; and one daughter, Marie Thompson, Smithville, Texas; and one grandson; and step-father Ernest Fry, of Harlem.
If so desired, memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 2970 Peachtree Road NW, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30305. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
