Maxwell road to open Monday From Staff Reports The McDuffie County School System will open the Maxwell Elementary Access Road on Monday afternoon, following an 11 a.m. dedication ceremony. Maxwell Principal Mychele Swain said everyone at the school is "elated" about the road opening, adding that it will help alleviate traffic and student drop-off/pick-up issues and. "We appreciate the McNeill family for their donation of the land for this road, the McDuffie County Commissioners and their road department for their tireless efforts in making our new road a reality." she said.
