APPLING, Ga. - Mr. Ray Vernon Paschal, Sr., 72 of Cobbham Rd., Appling, Ga. entered into rest September 10, 2005 at the V. A. Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Emma Soto Paschal.
Mr. Paschal was born in Columbia County. He was the son of the late Lloyd Lee Paschal and the late Annie Laurie Griffin. He was a retired Aircraft Electrician from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years and retired from Civil Service after 16 years. Mr. Paschal was also a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
Survivors include, wife, Emma Soto Paschal, Appling; daughters, Annie Laurie McInnis (Brent), Grayson, Ga. and Christine Paschal, Warner Robins; sons, Ray V. Paschal, Jr., Warner Robins and Felix Paschal (Laura), Warner Robins; brothers, Hubert Paschal, Monticello, William Paschal, Appling, James Howard Paschal, Martinez. and Lee Paschal, Appling; sisters, Ellen Thomas, Appling and Laurie Pearson, Appling; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at Sharon Baptist Church, Appling, with Revs. Andy Collins and Jerry Gay officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Military Honors.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
