Diane Michelle Bryant of Dexter and Brock Christopher Wilcher of Thomson were united in marriage at 3 p.m. July 16, 2005, at Dexter Baptist Church.
Special music was provided by D.W. Knight (soloist).
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Bryant. She was elegant in a white, strapless organza A-line gown. The bodice and chapel train were embroidered with beaded lace and accented with satin piping. She carried a bouquet of alstromeria and spray roses.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Jennifer Bryant, sister-in-law of the bride, of Dexter. Bridesmaids were Jenny Bacon and Elaina Gaillard, friends of the bride, of Dexter. The attendants wore strapless, apple red gowns accented with a rhinestone brooch. They carried bouquets of alstromeria.
The groom chose his father, Rodney Wilcher, as his best man. Groomsmen were David Bryant, brother of the bride, of Dexter; and Adam Wilcher, brother of the groom, of Statesboro.
Flower girl was Courtney Thompson, cousin of the bride, of Marshalville.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Bryant of Dexter. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ruth Miller and the late Mr. Joseph Miller and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Morris Bryant, all of Dexter.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Wilcher of Thomson. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Pulliam and Mr. and Mrs. William Wilcher, all of Mitchell.
A reception was held at the Dexter Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Anne's Bellvue Cottage in Dublin. It was hosted by the groom's parents.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon trip to Hilton Head Island, S.C. They are now living in Thomson.
