Fowler and Wheeler plan October ceremony in Gibson

Mr. and Mrs. Alan V. Fowler of Gibson, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Torianna Claire Fowler, to Philip Tony Wheeler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Tony Wheeler, Sr., of Gibson.

The wedding is planned for October 13, 2007, at sunset. The wedding will take place at the home of the bride in Gibson.

Miss Fowler is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sturgis and the late Marion L. Dye, all of Evans, and Mrs. Pauline and the late Mr. William A. Fowler, Jr. of Alma, Ga. She is a 2002 graduate of Glascock County High School and a 2007 graduate of the Mercer University School of Engineering, with a BSE in environmental engineering. She is employed by Cranston Engineering Group, PC, in Augusta as a Project Engineer.

Mr. Wheeler is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Phillips of Stapleton, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wheeler of Matthews, Ga. He is a 2000 graduate of Glascock County High School and a 2003 graduate of Sandersville Technical College, with a diploma in industrial electrical. He is employed by Thomson Plastics, Inc., in Thomson as a Maintenance Technician.
