Mrs. Lois Milford Howard

THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Lois Milford Howard, 93, widow of Mr. F.M. Marshall Howard, died Sunday, September 10, 2006 at her residence.

Graveside services were held at 4 p.m., Monday September 11 in the Westview Cemetery with Rev. Tom Kerr officiating.

Mrs. Howard was a native of Columbia County, but had lived in McDuffie County for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Thomson First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of OSME Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Marshall Howard and a daughter, Mrs. Martha Deariso.

She is survived by four daughters, Ruth McCorkle, Pat McGill and Betty Lake, all of Thomson and Ann Jones, Cream Ridge, N.J.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Members of the OSME Sunday school class were Honorary Pallbearers.

Donations may be made to the United Methodist Children Home or to the American Cancer Society.

Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
