DEARING, GA. - Mr. Carl Vinson Howell, Jr. 66, of Dearing, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2006 at University Hospital, Augusta.
He was a beloved husband and father to his wife and children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Vinson and Eugenia Howell, Sr.; brother Dewey Howell and sister, Mary Lee Van Maanen. He leaves behind his wife Juanita (Sue) Howell; three sons, Keith Howell and wife Tina of Greenville, S.C., Kenneth Howell and wife Rebecca of Maryville, Tenn, Kent Howell and wife Wendy of Harlem; two sisters, Connie Jo Young and husband Dave of Hephzibah, Ga., and Carla Howell of Dearing. Additional survivors include, grandsons, Michael, Christopher, Joshua, Ethan and Walker Howell, and granddaughter Miranda Thomas and great-grandson Tyler Thomas. He also leaves behind his aunt Eloise Jennings, Augusta; a special cousin, David Jennings, Augusta; several nieces and nephews, and a very special friend Mr. Pascal Price of Harlem.
Out of respect for his wishes, there was no funeral service.
