Lewis-Mayo Ann Lewis of Thomson would like to announce the engagement of her daughter, Annette Lee Lewis, to John Thomas Mayo of Norwood, son of Lawrence and Lorene Mayo of Norwood. Annette is also the daughter of the late Robert "Bob" Lewis. Miss Lewis is a graduate of Georgia College and State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She is presently a second grade teacher at Wrens Elementary. She is the granddaughter of the late James and Esther Stone and the late Bernard and Carrie Lewis. Mr. Mayo is a graduate of Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School. He is presently employed with D and M Hauling Company. He is the grandson of J.W. and Lucy Williamson and Mrs. Martha Mayo and the late T.P. Mayo. The wedding is planned for November 19, 2005, at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Thomson.
