THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Elizabeth Palmer Parris, 86, died Thursday, September 21, 2006, in the Thomson Manor Health Care Center.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2006, in the Marshall Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Jim Ramsey officiating.
Mrs. Parris was born April 22, 1920, in Appling, one of 13 children to Robert Edward and Alice Marie Cox Palmer. She retired from Thomson Company after more than 40 years of service as a seamstress and was a member of Ft. Creek Baptist Church.
Mrs. Parris is survived by a daughter, Linda Gheesling, of Dearing; two sons, Bill (Mary Ann) Parris of Warrenton, and Bobby (Ginnie) Parris of Dearing; four sisters, Alice Hammock, Myrtis Prevette, Frances McMichael, and Nell Myer; three brothers, Kenny Palmer, Price Palmer and Eugene Palmer all of Thomson; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
