Mrs. Mary A. Yaun

MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mrs. Mary A. Yaun, 87, wife of the late Mr. Mason Edgar Yaun, Sr. entered into rest September 18, 2006 at Doctor's Hospital.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 3 p.m. at Abilene Baptist Church with Rev. William F. Harrell and Rev. Barry Daniel officiating. Internment was at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Yaun was born in Charleston, S.C. She was a member of Abilene Baptist Church. In her active years, she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir and was devoted to her family. Mary was a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mason Edgar Yaun, Jr.

Survivors include a son, Richard A. (Tammy) Yaun, Sylvania; two daughters, Angielin (Frank) Fowler, Liberty, N.C. and Fran (Byrd) Rogers, Thomson; a brother-in-law, H.L. Sullivan, Sr.; two close friends, Ginny Adams and Jackie Sullivan; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Nephews served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Fidelis Sunday school class.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Abilene Baptist Church Building Fund.

Thomas L. King Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
