In June 2004, Jeannie Rushing entered a recipe contest sponsored by The Blue Willow Inn Restaurant in Social Circle.
She was notified recently that her recipes are to be published. She submitted two recipes: German Chocolate Pound Cake and Roast Pork Creole.
Winners selected in each category are to receive a gift certificate from Blue Willow Inn and an autographed copy of the new book, once published. One grand prize winner will be selected from the category winners and will also receive a Blue Willow China service for eight with completer set.
Mrs. Rushing is no stranger to recipe contests. In 1997, she was chosen as Dessert of the Year by Southern Living Magazine for Nanny's Famous Coconut-Pineapple Cake.
