Mr. and Mrs. Billy Gay of Dearing would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Britney Inglett, to Jamie Murphey.
Britney is the daughter of Billy and Gitti Gay of Dearing and Jim Inglett of Grovetown. Maternal grandparents are Ed and Inge Trimble of Hephzibah and the late Donald Banks Sr. of Grovetown. Paternal grandparents are Charlie and Dorothy Inglett of Grovetown. Britney is a senior at Thomson High School to graduate May 2005. She is employed at First United Methodist Church Daycare in Thomson.
Jamie Murphey is the son of Lee and Audrey Murphey of Thomson. Maternal grandparents are George and Audrey Padgett of Dearing. Paternal grandparents are Margaret and the late Paul Murphey of Thomson. He is a 2002 graduate of Thomson High School and is employed at C&C Tire of Thomson.
The couple will be married Oct. 30, with a wedding reception with friends and family at West Inn of Thomson.
They will reside in their new home in Dearing.
