Dr. and Mrs. Eddie Jackson Grisham of New Albany, Miss., formerly of Thomson, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Beth Christina Grisham, to Kevin Benjamin Cowart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benje L. Cowart of Thomson. The wedding is planned for December 13, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Thomson.
Miss Grisham is the granddaughter of Mr. Herbert Thomas and the late Mrs. Herbert Thomas of New Albany, Miss., and Mrs. Ewing Edgar Grisham and the late Mr. Ewing Edgar Grisham of New Albany. She is a graduate of Thomson High School and a graduate from Augusta State University where she received a bachelors of science degree in biology. Miss Grisham also received a masters of science degree in physician assistant studies from South University in Savannah. She is currently employed as a physician assistant in Augusta.
Mr. Cowart is the grandson of Mrs. Dean S. Adams and the late Mr. Jim Tom Adams of Hartwell, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Cowart of Sylvania, Ga.
He is a graduate of Thomson High School and received his bachelor of business administration in finance degree from Georgia Southern University. He is currently employed by Briarwood Academy as a coach and teacher.
