AUBURN, AL. - Mr. Leon Demons, 85, formerly of Thomson, died Wednesday, September 27, 2006. Funeral services were held on Monday, October 2, 2006, at noon at White Oak Grove Baptist Church IN Thomson with Rev. Johnny Few, Pastor, officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors are two daughters, Dianne Demons Tucker, Riva, Md., and Debra Demons Cobb, Auburn, Ala.; two sons-in-law Ivory Tucker, Riva Md., and Michael Cobb, Auburn, Ala.; three step-daughters, Mary Bowman and Alice Washington both of Syracuse, NY., Misty Green of Athens; one sister, Rosie Demons Mason, of Thomson; host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends, among them dear friends (caregivers) Ms. Cassie Carter and Ms. Adair Wingfield.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
