COLLEGE PARK, Ga. - Ms. Kimberly LaShara Jacobs entered this life on Aug. 3, 1980, in Augusta, to Linda Jacobs and Robert Jacobs, Jr. She entered into rest on September 26, 2006, at her residence.
Her maternal grandparents are the late L.J. and Elizabeth Bradshaw; paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jacobs, Sr.
Kimberly was a 1998 graduate of Hephzibah High School and earned a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Georgia in 2003. Kimberly was a Family Service Coordinator at Easter Seals/Sylvan Hills in Atlanta. She was a well-spoken young woman who cherished her family and was loyal to those she counted among her friends.
Kimberly leaves to cherish her memories her loving mother, Linda Jacobs, Columbus; a devoted sister, A1 C Janese Jacobs and her father, Robert Jacobs, Jr. Newberry, S.C. Kimberly belonged to a tight knit family of devoted aunts and uncles who were always ready to help in her short stay here on Earth. They are Dianne Banister, Hampton; Glenda (Jesse) Johnson, Thomson; James (Mary) Bradshaw, Augusta, Jack (Faye) Bradshaw, Felton (Cora) Bradshaw and Larry (Virginia) Bradshaw, all of Thomson; Billy (Birtha) Bradshaw, Irmo, S.C.; Roberta (Walter) Glymph, Mary (Johnny) Scurry and Hazel (Ulysses) Dawkins, all of Newberry, S.C.; a very special friend, Odaine Hudson, Athens, two great aunts; Lillie Lampkin and Mary Roberts, Thomson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 30, 2006, 11 a.m. at Stamp Branch Baptist Church, Warrenton, with Rev. Robert Martin presiding and Rev. Favors, Eulogist.
Pinkston-Roberts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
