Mr. Homer Kay, Jr.
Retired - Military
MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. Homer Kay, Jr., 67, husband of Mrs. Phyllis Unbehauen Kay, entered into rest September 29, 2005 at the Medical College of Georgia,
Funeral services were held Monday, October 3, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Pulluim officiating. Full Military Honors were accorded.
Mr. Kay was born in Oklahoma City, Okla. and has been a Columbia, Co. resident since 1976. Mr. Kay served with honor in the U.S. Army, a tour in Vietnam and received many medals and accommodations while serving in the military. After leaving the military, Mr. Kay worked for the Shepeard Community Blood Center in Augusta. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Kay, Martinez; a son, Terry Kay, Thomson; a daughter, Michelle Kay, Martinez; a brother, Millard J. Kay, Texas; two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
