Mr. Roy Mitchell MONROE, Ga. - Mr. Roy Mitchell, 59, of Monroe, died September 29, 2005. He was born in Dekalb County on October 24, 1945 to the late Lolan Mitchell and the late Pearl Pilgrim Mitchell. Survivors are his wife, Karen Mitchell, Monroe; children: MiKayla Mitchell, Monroe, Charlene Watson, Conyers, Bonnie Sue and GW Major, Dawsonville; Michael Mitchell, Alabama, Sonia and Howard Lindsey, Covington, Michael and Katie Crosby, Thomson, and Alecia Shaw, Monroe; grandchildren: Leslie and Joey Wigley, Gina Jones, Connie Harris, Lisa Marie Lindsey, Kim League, Ashley Mitchell, Mitch Lindsey, Justin Mitchell, Rachel Mitchell, Taylor Shaw, Kaleigh Crosby and Autumn Mitchell; great-grandchildren: Andrew Wigley, Ashley Wigley, Daniel Harris and Caitlin Harris. Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 1 at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Casola officiating. Interment followed at Westview Cemetery in Thomson.
