Usry to marry Bland in Appling ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Carl and Yvette Burns of Thomson, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Coyatitta Lanika Usry, to Jerry Bland, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Ray Bland of Norwood.

The wedding is planned for August 30, 2008, at First Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Appling.

Miss Usry is the granddaughter of Mr. Grady Usry of Thomson. She is a 1994 graduate of Thomson High School and a 1998 graduate of Georgia College and State University where she earned a bachelor's of business administration degree in information systems & communications. She is currently attending Westwood College online pursuing another bachelor's degree in graphic visual communications.

Mr. Bland is a 1992 graduate of Warren County High School. He is currently co-managing Mouse's House restaurant in Warrenton.
