EVANS, Ga. - Mr. Roy Andrews II, 45, husband of Jeannette Olson Andrews, entered into rest on Saturday October 8, 2005, at University Hospital.
Funeral Services were held on Monday October 10, 2005, at Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church at 4 p.m., with Rev. Chip Wilson, Rev. Jerry Pitman, and Rev. Pierce Norman officiating. Burial was in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Additional survivors include two sons, Roy Andrews III, and Johusa Andrews; one daughter, Jamie Andrews; his father, Roy Andrews and his wife, Katherine of Gulf Breeze, Fl.; his mother, Dell Andrews of Thomson; one brother, Bob Andrews and his wife, Miriam of Thomson; one sister, Stephanie Bales and her husband, Gerry of Watkinsville, and several nieces and nephews.
Roy was a self employed contractor, specializing in commercial, and residential renovations. He was a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church. Roy was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He will be missed by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Habitat for Humanity, 1002 Walton Way, Augusta, Ga. 30901.
Pallbearers were Foster Olson, Gerry Bales, Jonathan Bales, John Greely, Key Kernaghan, Vint Maggs, Boyd Gwinn.
Platt's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
