Ms. Frances "Gran" Holliday AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Ms. Frances "Gran" Holliday entered into rest Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at University Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Greater Young Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Gilbert Howard officiating. Burial was at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, Appling. Ms. Holliday, a native of McDuffie County, was a member of Fielding Spring Baptist Church. Survivors are three grandchildren, Morris (Cynthia) Holliday, Conway, S.C., Reginald (Vicky) Roberts, Augusta, Linda Roberts, Charlotte, N.C.; one sister, Ethel Paschal, Thomson; six grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one nephew and one niece.
