Did anyone ever see a president with such a brassy nerve as George Bush?
He accuses Sen. Kerry of flip flops, conveniently forgetting his own. Early on, he was adamantly opposed to using the military in nation building. What is he doing now in Iraq?
Nearly every day there is a news report saying that President Bush, bowing to political pressure, has reversed course on one matter or another.
First he said that the new intelligence czar would not control all of the spending; now he says that he can. Then U.S. soldiers could not be tried in an international court, now they can.
First he opposed, for obvious reasons, the creation of a 9/11 commission. Now he thinks it was a good thing. No wonder the families of 9/11 victims oppose him and have come out for Kerry.
Once the commission was established he said that he would only appear before the committee chairs, then he would appear before the whole committee.
First, he would only give them one hour, but then said they could have all the time they wanted. First, Condolezza Rice would not testify before congress, but she did.
Then he causes Kerry a flip-flopper! Come on!
