GIBSON, Ga. - Mr. Brett Newsome, 43, beloved husband of Mrs. Dianne Newsome, of Gibson, died Sunday, October 12, 2008, in Select Specialty Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, October 16, in the Reedy Creek Baptist Church with Rev. John Jenkins and Rev. M.C. Radford officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Newsome was a native of McDuffie County, but had lived in Gibson for several years. He was employed with the Georgia State Hwy Department and was a member of the Reedy Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dianne Newsome, Gibson; his son, Mr. Christopher Newsome, Harlem; his parents, Lansin and Joanne Palmer Newsome, Stapleton; his sister, Mrs. Roxanne Daniel, Grovetown; and his brother, Mr. Chad Newsome, Mitchell.
