THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mr. Herman Blanchard, Jr., 58, of Thomson, was held on 1 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2006, at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, with Rev. Ronald G. Toney, as Eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, JoAnn Blanchard, Thomson; three children, David (Trevenia) Blanchard, Orangeburg, SC, Lawanda (Yao) Tyus, Washington D.C., and Crystal Blanchard, Thomson; four sisters, Gertrude (David) Trappio, Savannah, Rebbie Collins, Grovetown, Minister Julia Jenkins, Savannah and Lula Blanchard, NY; four brothers, John Willie Blanchard, Elberton, Lemont, Shawn, and Sylvester Blanchard, all of Savannah; four grandchildren; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
