Funeral mass and prayer vigil for Ms. Margaret Helmick, 35, of Thomson, was celebrated Friday, October 13, 2006, at St. Edward Catholic Church with Father Peter Clark as celebrant.
Final blessings were said on Saturday, October 14, at Pine view Memorial Park, North Augusta, S.C.
Ms. Helmick was a native of North Augusta, S.C., but had made Thomson her home for the past 10 years. Margaret was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Margaret's vibrant smile and exuberant love for her family and friends will be truly missed. "Our loss is truly Heaven's gain."
She is survived by two sons, Justin and Derrick of Thomson; mother, Catherine Riley, Thomson; one sister, Sharon Riley; one brother, Jimmy Riley. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, a sister-in-law, a niece, two nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and deveoted friends.
