Thanks for supporting Sky Letter to the Editor Dear Editor, The faculty and staff of Thomson Middle School would like to express their sincere gratitude to the community for the tremendous support of the barbecue dinner given for Sky Powell. We would like to especially acknowledge the help of all McDuffie County Schools, The Board of Education, First National Bank, First Bank, First Citizens Bank, SunTrust, Regions Bank, The McDuffie Mirror, The McDuffie Progress, Mr. Ralph Starling, Mr. Mike Carrington, Mr. Rick McCorkle and Bi-Lo, Mr. Mike Love, The Thomson High School Booster Club, Mr. Mike Wall, Mr. Greg Harden, as well as countless volunteers.
