The Thomson High School Skills USA construction club is planning to bring back Friday the 13th for Halloween this year in Thomson. The club, along with other construction class students, have built a haunted trail at McDuffie Place in Raysville.
"We're going to call it 'Resurrection at Raysville' and we're going to resurrect Jason," said construction instructor Barry Arrington. "We're going to scare 'em up. It's a real scary one."
The haunted trail will go through the woods and will feature THS students dressed up in costume. Mr. Arrington said the trail is not recommended for young children, "unless they're real bold."
The trail will be open tomorrow night, Friday, Oct. 24, and Saturday, Oct. 25, at sundown and will last "until the crowds quit coming." The trail also will be open during the same time Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 29-Nov. 1. Admission is $5. All proceeds go to the Skills USA club for their participation in competitions.
