THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Jean McNair Brown, 70, of Thomson, were held on Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Mt. Aldred C.M.E. Church, Warrenton, with Rev. Willie J. Wiley officiating. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, William Brown, Jr., Thomson; two sisters, Mildred Hill, Warrenton, and Louise (James Roy) Burnette, Thomson; a brother, Lint (Virginia) McNair, Thomson; a sister-in-law, Ethel Gordon, Houston; a brother- in-law, Dewitt Walker, Jackson, Miss.; a uncle, Leonard Greenwood, Beech Island, S.C.; two devoted nephews, Eric (Earline) McNair, Chicago, Ill., and Lindon West, Hephzibah; a host of nieces, other nephews, cousins, many relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System, Thomson, was in charge of arrangements.
