APPLING, Ga. - Graveside service for Mrs. Annie Bell Garnett, age 84, of Appling, was held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Elijah Barnes, Jr., officiating.
Survivors are nine children, Edward (Rosie) Garnett and David (Ruvenia) Garnett, all of Appling, Helen (Roy) Jones, Lincolnton, Emma (John) Tucker, Columbia, S.C., Ellen (G.W.) Douglas, Memphis, Tenn., Susie (James) Pollard, Martinez, Elizabeth Garnett, Tucker, Ga., Cassie (Lorenzo) Heggs, and Barry (Vanessa) Garnett, all of Thomson; three brothers, George Green, Hezekiah Green, and Cornelius Green, all of Appling; three sisters, Katherine Green, Carol Green, and Minnie Green, all of Appling; 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, six great-great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
