THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Curtis Moore of Thomson were held Monday, October 22, 2007, at the Greater St. James A.M.E. Church at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. George. R. Lasure officiating and Rev. Henry Andrews serving as eulogist. Interment was in Society Cemetery, Mesena.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Alice Brown; father, Sim (Beater) Moore, Sr., both of Thomson; two sisters, Lizzie Babbs-Samuels, Thomson, Jesse Mae Moore; four brothers, Larry (Paulette) Lampkin, Columbus, Ohio, Sylvester Moore, Hinesville, Mike Casey, Wrens and Sim Moore, Jr., Brunswick; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
