Mrs. Anna Belle Timmerman

DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Anna Belle Timmerman, wife of the late Thomas LaFayett Timmerman, entered into rest at the residence of her niece in Dearing.

Mrs. Timmerman was a native of Augusta, the daughter of the late William Franklin Sargent and Queenie Hadden Sargent. She lived in Augusta all of her life and was a member of the First Southern Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sister, Elizabeth Davis of Appling; nieces, Bonnie D. Phillips of Spokane, Wa., Patricia Agner of Dearing, Cora Christopherson of Appling, Kay Alford of Katy, Tex., Linda Stephens of Atlanta, and Kellie Tice of Evans, nephews, Dr. Benjamin Timmerman of Augusta and Lonnie T. Davis of Nashville, Tenn.

Funeral services were conducted from Thomas Poteet & Son Chapel Thursday, October 19, 2006, 3 p.m., with Rev. Freddie L. McCain and Rev. Bob Matthews officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were Michael Watson, Darrell Watson, Chris Buzzell, Larry Agner and Tome Christopheson. Interment followed at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

If so desired, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Anna Belle Timmerman, to the Augusta Rescue Mission, 526 Walker St. Augusta, GA 30901.

Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
