Rhonda Taylor, Licensed Practical Nurse, recently received the Golden Heart for the month of August at McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
She is described by co-workers as a fun-loving individual who is very compassionate about her job in the emergency department. She is often the first person to lend a helping hand, either at work or away from MRMC.
"Thank you Rhonda for taking the time to do the little things that makes a visit to the ER as pleasant as possible," said Peggy Barmore, Chief Nurse Executive.
Some examples of Ms. Taylor's caring nature include:
- small gestures such as finding the time to talk with her patients who may need a little more care whether they are just lonely or need to vent their frustrations about their life
- always making sure her patients are comfortable as possible
- always courteous, kind and patient with each and every guest no matter what the circumstance.
