Mr. Lawrence Monroe Reynolds
Retired Electrician

THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Lawrence Monroe Reynolds, 85, entered into rest October 26, 2008 at Warrenton Health and Rehabilitation.

He was the beloved husband of Dorothy S. Reynolds for 68 years.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Glen Reynolds officiating.

Pallbearers were Harold Brantley, Keith Reynolds, Billy Joe Reynolds, Bobby Reynolds, Chris Reynolds, and Gerald King.

Mr. Reynolds was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County and was the son of the late George Reynolds and the late Fannie Wellmaker Reynolds. He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II and was retired as an electrician. Mr. Reynolds was also a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Dot Smith Reynolds, Thomson; sons, Creig Reynolds, Lincolnton, Glen A. Reynolds and his wife Vickie, Grovetown; daughters, Priscilla Foster and her husband Neal, Thomson, Debbie Lokey and her husband Johnny, Thomson, Barbara MacLennan and her husband John, Omaha, Neb.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.

Mr. Reynolds was also preceded in death by his brothers, Paul and Otis Reynolds.

Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
