THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mr. Walter "Dick" Cummings, of Thomson, was held on Saturday October 28, 2006, at 1 p.m. at the Greater St. James A.M.E. Church, Rev. Luther Rogers Eulogist. Interment was in the Whiteoak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors are three sons, Charles (Lillie) Cummings, Tracy (Vickie) Pinkston and Gregory (Vessie) Jones; one daughter, Annette Pinkston (Chris Tucker); two sisters Mary Ruth Cummings and Dorothy (Leon) Hill; three brothers, Robert (Irene) Cummings, John Thomas Cummings and Curtis (Lenora) Cummings; 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
