1) nes hoops1 & nes hoops2 -- cutline: Members of the Augusta State Jaguars basketball team visited Norris Elementary School last Thursday for Red Ribbon Week.
ASU coach Dip Metress and team members A.J. Bowman, a junior from Washington-Wilkes, Steve Smith, a junior from Virginia, and Dee Howard, a sophomore also from Virignia talked to the students about the importance of doing well in school and staying away from drugs. The players also demonstrated basketball skills and competed in drills with the elementary students.
